OISE Stay At Home Club on 19 December, 2020
Indigenous African educator Osholene Oshobugie’s reading from her book, My Sleeping Dream! How I Learnt My Numbers, made for a wonderful episode on the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education’s highly popular OISE Stay At Home Club web series. Osho explores how we can use numbers to speak the identity of African/Black children through their ancestry and culture. With over 3k viewers to date, her presentation is truly delightful for educators, parents and anybody looking to learn more about Meritah (African) wisdom and education. Thank you for sharing your work, Osho! You can watch her episode at uoft.me/oise-stay-home-club.
